DRIFT: Recovered from a neighboring reality. Facts herein are true somewhere else. For entertainment only.

A Drift work is fiction, lore or play. Drift never covers health, medicine, science education or finance.

Earth Prime

Earth Prime shows readings from public sources about the world as it is. It is not a warning system. Readings can be late or missing. In an emergency, follow your local authorities.

Earth Prime readings carry no stories and no jokes. Titles of papers and alerts are shown as their sources give them; we do not summarize them.

The shelf and the filters

The ATTENTION channel carries a short shelf of documentaries and investigations. Our selection rule: Documentaries and investigations we think changed what people could see, and we say why we chose each one. Picks are ours, made by a human curator.

We show picks only from these outlets: AP, Reuters, BBC, PBS FRONTLINE, ProPublica, ICIJ, Bellingcat, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Economist, Financial Times, NHK, Der Spiegel, Le Monde, Al Jazeera, National Geographic.

Titles from public sources pass a filter before they appear: no deaths, violence or sexual content, and no tragedy as the subject of a ring channel. Large earthquakes, disaster alerts and extreme weather alerts are shown as the issuing authority words them, never as a divergence. We can switch every third-party title off at once.
