Privacy

We built this site to know as little about you as possible. This page says exactly what that means.

What we do not do

• We set no cookies.
• We run no tracking or advertising scripts, and we do not use any analytics script in your browser.
• We never sell data, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
• The page never asks where you are.

What your browser asks for

This page loads its fonts, code and readings from savormonk.com and nowhere else. The Earth Prime readings are fetched by our own server from public sources (listed on the main page under Earth Prime Sources), so your browser never contacts those sources and they never see your address.

What your browser keeps

Your browser keeps three small items in this site's local storage. They stay on your device, we cannot read them, and clearing this site's data removes them.

• sm.theme: your Ink or Eclipse choice, if you made one.
• sm.ep.snapshot: the last Earth Prime readings, so the page can show something when the network is down. It holds only public readings.
• sm.ep.seen: the ids of Earth Prime events this browser has already shown, with the time it first showed each one, so the same event is not announced twice. It is pruned after 7 days.

What our host sees

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the address your request comes from and basic request details in order to deliver the page and protect it from abuse, under the Cloudflare privacy policy. We can see aggregate counts, such as how many pages were served in a day. We do not see who you are, and our own code logs nothing about visitors.

When you leave the site

Links to Gumroad (where our works are sold) and Substack (where Stream of Consciousness and the free Guest Pass live) take you to those services, and their own privacy policies apply there. If you subscribe or buy, they hold your email address; we see it only in the way those services show it to creators.

The Curator preview

The Curator preview on this page is scripted. What you type into it stays in your browser and is not sent anywhere.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this changes, for example when Library Card sales open, we will update this page and its date before the change takes effect.
